How do I get started on the 2 Day PADI Open Water Course?
A $75.00 deposit is required to cover the cost of your study materials. This deposit is credited toward the cost of your class. Once a deposit is received a CrewPak containing your study materials is mailed to you (unless E-learning is chosen). Your class dates are booked and you are well on your way to becoming a certified diver.
How much does the 2 Day PADI Open Water Course cost?
The total cost for the class is $325.00 (private lessons available upon request)Group Discounts for 4 or more enrolling together. This price includes everything you need to become a certified Open Water Diver with no hidden costs or sales pitch! Add Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty for only $75 and go home with more knowledge and confidence. Go one step further and complete your Enriched Air Specialty for only $110.00.Prerequisites for Open Water Class
Minimum age is 10 yrs old for JR level and 15 for Open water level. All study materials and release forms MUST be completed before class start date. You will be sent a checklist prior to your start date. A generally good comfort level in the water and reasonably good physical fitness. Also, please make sure you have 24 hours after the completion of class before flying commercial. Having Divers Alert Network dive insurance should be a an important addition to all divers.
What can I expect during class?
Day1 Paperwork and testing completed Confined Water dives at the dive location Open Water Dives One and Two completed
Day 2 Confined Water dives finished at dive location
Open Water Dives Three and Four Completed
If all certification requirements met, SCUBA certification issued
Day 3 As needed on case by case basis to complete or review any portion of class necessary . Additional $100 fee applies at instructor discretion. Get more from your Open Water Class and take the Enriched Air Specialty at the same time and go home with even more knowledge. Available in E-Learning format. Elearning. Have a PADI Adventure Divercertification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization).
